Recognizable Among Millions

If we can identify, among a million faces, who our friends or relatives are, think about what that really means. We could travel anywhere and literally see a million faces. Everyone we meet can be of the same ethnicity, with two eyes, nose and mouth, yet we can instantly recognize if one of those faces belongs to a friend or family.

Isn’t that remarkable.

How is our eye so precise when everyone has the same basic features? The same two eyes, the same nose, mouth, ears, and face. Yet down to the millimeter, we know whether someone merely resembles a relative or actually is one.

Our eyes pick up microscopic, millimeter level details that allow us to identify safety, family, love, and friendship.

When men wear a blazer, many assume they are all similar simply because they have two sleeves, a front, a back, and a lapel. But our eyes see more than we think. They pick up the smallest details to create a profile of who we are looking at, even if we do not consciously realize it or consider ourselves detail oriented. Many men do not realize they are noticing these small differences.

Those tiny details are what create an impression, just like the millimeters that distinguish a family member’s face from a stranger who only looks similar. We instinctively know when something is not quite right.

In a jacket, there are over 85 different measurements. Every single millimeter changes the final result. Those measurements create a different face, one that can feel symmetrical, familiar, and right. A face that communicates power, trust, and connection.
