Pellegrino Castronovo has dedicated himself to the craft of men’s bespoke tailoring. He’s passionate about helping men look and feel their best, driven by a love for fabrics, fits and details.
For 25 years of his career, Pellegrino focused on bespoke tailoring. Suits that demanded immense time and precision to create. In recent years, he observed that too many men were excluded from experiencing that level of craft. They wanted garments that carried his expertise, style and fit but were ready at the click of a button. That realization inspired him to build a collection. The vision was never to replace bespoke, but to expand it. To design garments he would proudly wear himself, created with the same integrity as bespoke, yet accessible online to everyone.
However, in recent years one word began to rise to the top of his clients’ vocabulary: comfort. The modern man demands comfort—without compromise. In an industry built on structure, men are now asking for the ease of sweatpants. Pellegrino clearly understood the assignment and Man Wears Sheep was born.
Of course, the journey wasn’t easy. As a bespoke designer, he couldn’t simply buy a clothing line and put his label on it, as many do. Instead, he examined every fabric, scrutinized each manufacturing detail, and reworked patterns with every new sample. Challenges came quickly, from manufacturers to fabrics and fits. But he remained determined to create his own fit and his own patterns using the same standards as bespoke garments.
He named the collection as a nod back to the beginning. Back to the very first garment worn by man, and a look forward to the man men become the moment the blazer is on. Every centimeter is considered, not only in finishing and style, but in what he calls its overall ‘starelure.’ Yes, you read that right: a term Pellegrino himself coined. The question is simple: if you saw a man in this, would you be compelled to look, to respect him, to want to know him?
These blazers aren’t meant for just rare occasions. They’re built for coffee runs, client meetings, flights, dinners, for showing up in real life. MWS lives between structured suits and hoodie comfort, the way men want to dress today.
Sharp. Modern. Comfortable.
